Our Leaders
Pastor
Julian and Claire Mabey have pastored for many years in the UK in both Coventry & Bury St Edmunds.
They returned to the UK in 2020 after serving in Southern China for nearly 6 years. They, along with their 3 sons saw many amazing opportunities open up in that land for sharing the gospel. Sadly, their time overseas ended abruptly when the church was visited by the authorities, closed down and they were asked to leave the country.
After a season seeking and waiting on the Lord the Mabey’s have stepped into the leadership of King’s Church, Cambridge.
Julian: ‘My conviction is that God will continue to raise up King’s Church and fulfil prophecies spoken in years past - ‘the glory of the latter temple shall be greater than the former says the Lord’ (Haggai 2:9)
My passion is also to help those who receive Christ to realise their true identity as God’s children and to grow into the abundant life Jesus promised those who believe.
Leadership
King’s Church believe God’s ideal is for interdependent leaders, individuals set apart by the Holy Spirit, united in vision and acknowledging the particular gifting each person is able to contribute. Plurality led by the Spirit promotes caring community, support and relationality that stewards the life and purpose God has for His Church.
Youth Leaders
Priscillia leads our youth group at King’s Church. She has been in the ministry for the past 2 years and has a heart to see the youth fulfil their potential as they pursue the Lord Jesus as their Saviour and best friend.

The trustees at King's Church are Jean-Louis Beng Elouga, Jerron Nii Okai and Patience Tilbury.
